Bringing the grimy sounds of the UK to the CA, Vancouver’s 49th Peril has arrived to alert the masses that a new era of Canadian Hip Hop has arrived.

Drawing influence from Hardcore legends Public Enemy, to old school Slayer, a dab of Dizzee Rascal, some intricate dub step, political dancehall and even throw in some straight-edged punk attitude for good measure.

These two pioneering lyricists, are destined to make their mark on the world, let alone their hometown.

Conscious lyrics, focusing on the issues of homelessness, poverty, addiction, and the bitter and beautiful truth, are what set the “4-9” apart from the rest- no expensive tastes here folks. A vibrant crossover appeal that is certain to create and conquer a new breed of Hip-Hop listener.
